London, Nov 20 (IANS) Oprah Winfrey will be ending her long running popular talk show in 2011.

Winfrey is expected to make the official announcement on the show 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' Friday, reports telegraph.co.uk.

'Oprah will announce live on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history,' Tim Bennett, president of Winfrey's production company Harpo, has been quoted as saying.

'The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on Sep 9, 2011,' Bennett added.
