N.D. Tiwari paternity row: Rohit Shekhar deposits blood sample
5/26/2012 9:31:00 PM

New Delhi, May 26 (ANI): Rohit Shekhar, who claims to be the biological son of veteran Congress leader N D Tiwari, furnished his blood samples for DNA test in a paternal lawsuit, along with his mother Ujjwala Sharma, here on Saturday.

As per the directives of the Supreme Court, Tiwari would give his blood sample at his residence in Dehradun on Tuesday in the presence of district Judge and a high court registrar.

As per the orders of the Supreme Court, we had been asked, me and my mother, to deposit our samples here in Delhi High Court premises. We have done that. These samples have been sealed in the presence of counsel of the N D Tiwari, my counsel and my mother's counsel, said Shekhar.

Shekhar along with his mother would now head to Dehradun to be present at the time of collection of Tiwari's blood sample.

Shekhar has also demanded security for him and his mother as he suspects some unsavoury incident due to Tiwari's clout in Dehradun.

He is a former Chief Minister and there is every possibility that he tries to obstruct, or some of his supporters obstruct with his compliance, Shekhar said. (ANI)
