BJP announces nation-wide agitation against Centre's policies on May 31
5/27/2012 5:44:00 PM

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a nation-wide agitation against Centre's anti- people policies on May 31, party spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi announced on Sunday.

Addressing mediapersons here, Naqvi alleged the government's agenda was to favour black marketers and hoarders.

The government's agenda is to favour black marketers, hoarders and not the common people. We have called this government-a government of corruption and price rise. We are going to launch a nation-wide agitation against the anti-people policies of this government on May 31, he said.

He added that if there was any truth in the allegations levelled against 15 cabinet ministers, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by Team Anna, it should be exposed.

It is a government of corruption and scams. As far as Team Anna allegations are concerned, if there is any truth in it, then people should know about it, Naqvi said.

He also mocked chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), Sonia Gandhi, for claiming that Congress Party would again receive people's mandate to rule the country, calling her claims, farcical.

The UPA chairperson said that her party would again receive people's mandate on such performance. I don't think anything could be more farcical then this. She must know the ground realities, he said. (ANI)
