Alison wants to reconcile with sister Mariah
5/28/2012 6:56:00 AM

Los Angeles, May 28 (IANS) Mariah Carey's elder sister Alison says she is very keen to reconnect with the singer.

Alison Carey wants to meet her niece and nephew -- twins Moroccan and Monroe who turned a year old last month, contactmusic.com reports.

Although the two sisters have spoken just once after 1994, Allison is still hopeful.

I want to reach out to my sister and tell her how much I miss her and how proud I am that we are family, she said.

We may be apart now, and it has been many years since we last spoke. But to me, despite all the bad times and the arguments, she will always be my baby sister, the 50-year-old added.

Allison also feels Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon are going to be great parents.

I am sure Mariah is going to be a fantastic mother and her husband Nick Cannon, who I've heard nothing but good things about, will be a great father, she said.
