Brits girls having sex at age 15
5/28/2012 3:17:00 PM

London, May 28 (ANI): In a new study, scientists are conducting research to find the average age at which British girls are having sex, and they expect that it will be 15.

Evidence suggests that the average age at which British girls are having sex is going down - in 1990 it was 17, in 2000 it was 16.

British girls are having sex earlier than ever with the rise in sexting to blame.

Experts believe that girls are on average now having sex at 15, below the legal age of consent.

The findings have been revealed by the Family Lives charity that revealed a shocking series of cases.

One included a 12-year-old girl performing oral sex on a 14-year-old boy at school.

Boys were also found to pin down girls in the playground and grope them.

The evidence suggests that the average age at which British girls are having sex is going down. In 1990 it was 17, in 2000 it was 16. They are now doing the research for 2010 and the expectation is that it will be 15, the Daily Star quoted Claire Walker, director, as saying. (ANI)
