6/12/2012 12:09:00 PM

Washington, June 12 (ANI): Kris Humphries has handed over evidence to the FBI, in a bid to prove that his short-lived flame Fatmire Myla Sinanaj attempted to extort him.

The NBA star's lawyers contacted FBI agents Friday, claiming Sinanaj tried to extort him by demanding a large sum of money, or else she'd release damaging information about their relationship to the media, TMZ.com repoted.

It was also reported on Friday that Humphries desperately trying to ban Sinanaj from talking about their relationship by getting her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

According to sources connected with Myla, she has emails, texts and other documents chronicling their relationship that could hurt Humphries if they became public.

The basketball player's lawyers had the conference with FBI officials in Minnesota and turned over multiple recorded messages from Sinanaj which Humphries' people say proves extortion. (ANI)
