Obama and team forget to pay father's day lunch tab
6/15/2012 12:44:00 PM

Washington, June 15 (ANI): Amid the bustle of Barack Obama's surprise stop for barbecue on Wednesday, the White House seemed to have overlooked one key detail - the bill.

Celebrating Father's Day early, the current US president had lunch with two service members and two local barbers at Kenny's BBQ on Capitol Hill.

As the group chatted about fatherhood, the 50-year-old enjoyed a steaming plate of pork ribs with hot sauce, collard greens, red beans and rice and cornbread, ABC News reported.

According to pool reports, the bill for the president and his four guests, which amounted 55.58 dollars, was left unpaid at the point of sale.

However, the White House corrected the oversight and settled up the tab by the end of the business day. (ANI)
