Mancini tells Balotelli to play without being pain in Italian coach's a**entertainment
6/22/2012 12:26:00 PM

London, June 22(ANI): Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has told his eccentric striker Mario Balotelli to play the way as he knows best but without causing problems to Italian coach Cesare Prandelli.

Mancini believes Prandelli should play Balotelli in every game because he can cause problems to the rival team like no one else in the team, and added that the City striker would be a big threat for England in quarterfinal showdown on Sunday in Kiev.

Speculation is rife whether Prandelli will pick the hotheaded star for their showdown in Kiev as Balotelli fell out with the boss after being dropped for the final group game against the Republic of Ireland on Monday.

Mancini has wished Balotelli the best, but also requested him to score goals but without creating any kind of frenzy.

Mario, I wish you the best, but please score a goal without hysteria next time. I suggest to him to play as he knows and not to be such a pain in the a**e with the coach, The Daily Star quoted Mancini, as saying.

But he has to play. No one else could give England the same problems. Prandelli is doing terrific work, but he has to rely on Mario. He is too important, you could not leave him on the bench. Mario should always play. He is the best and, with him, the national team is much stronger, he added.

If you look at the other day, he came on, made an impact and scored a splendid goal. I don't want to steal Prandelli's job because he is doing very well, but I consider Mario the best Italian striker. Mario is a champion and champions help you to win things, he said. (ANI)
