Customs officials seize illegal silver, gold at IGI Airport

New Delhi, July 5 (ANI): Acting on intelligence developed by the intelligence unit of Air Customs, Air Customs arrested a passenger identified as Nirvair Singh at the Indira Gandhi International Airport earlier this week.

A statement issued by the Department of Customs said Singh was carrying silver and gold jewellery, Sony magic gate memory sticks (16gb and 8 gb), PCBs and micro sd card adapters.

he statement further said that Singh was a resident of Kapurthala, Punjab, and a holder of Indian passport no. K2933687, and had arrived in New Delhi from Hong Kong via Flight no. Cx-751 at 8.30 p.m. on July 2. (ANI)
