Kokrajhar (Assam), July 22 (ANI): Indefinite curfew was imposed here on Sunday, after nine people were killed and 15 injured in violence between two groups.

Army has been deployed in the violence-hit area.

Four activists of former militant outfit Bodo Liberation Tigers were shot dead by unidentified persons in Joypur area under Kokrajhar police.

In retaliatory clashes, five minority immigrants have been killed since July 19.

Prohibitory orders have been issued throughout the district to prevent any untoward incident. (ANI)
