UAE charity group launches iftar project in Pakistan

Abu Dhabi, July 23 (IANS/WAM) The Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched its iftar project in Pakistan through which food and clothes will be given to widows, orphans and victims of natural disasters.

The project will run throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The foundation Monday held an iftar banquet at an orphanage for 200 children as well as at the Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi for 200 patients.
