At least six outfits spreading violence in Balochistan
8/2/2012 12:24:00 PM

Islamabad, Aug 2 (ANI): A latest report issued by the Pakistan Interior Ministry has revealed that at least six militant outfits are directly involved in the prevailing unrest in Balochistan.

According to the report, at least 868 people have been killed in Balochistan since 2010.

A breakup showed around 378 persons were killed in 2010, 228 in 2011, and 262 people so far this year. It was also revealed that the number of missing persons has reached as high as 2,390 so far, reports The News.

The Interior Ministry report also points fingers at suspicious activities perpetrated by certain Afghan refugees as one of the reasons behind the deteriorating law and order situation in the province.

Outfits like Lashkar Balochistan, Mussalah Difa Tanzeem, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, BLA, BRA, and BLF are among the culprits, which have turned Balochistan into a killing field, the report said. (ANI)
