Views of Madrid in Pitbull, Shakira music video
8/3/2012 10:48:00 AM

Madrid, Aug 3 (IANS/EFE) Madrid's Callao Square, a train station and even the capital's tunnels serve as the stage for the new video by US rapper Pitbull and Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira called Get It Started.

The production, posted Thursday on the VEVO video platform, is a foretaste of Pitbull's next album - Global Warming - and his label, Sony Music, calls it an authentic hymn of the dance floors.

Shakira sings from the top floor of one of the Spanish capital's most unique buildings while the Cuban-American rapper flees from a sort of gangster through the streets of the city along with a female companion.

This is not the first time that the two Latino artists have collaborated. Pitbull co-wrote the song Rabiosa for Shakira's 2010 album Sale el sol.
