Man U intensifies efforts to sign Brazilian starlet Moura with 30m pounds bid
8/3/2012 2:32:00 PM

London, Aug. 3 (ANI): Manchester United are reportedly trying to tie up the 30 million pound transfer of Lucas Moura from Sao Paulo after Paris St Germain moved in to recruit the Brazilian starlet.

According to the Daily Mail, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had watched the midfielder play for Brazil against New Zealand during their Olympics match, and was hoping to hold further talks with the club in a bid to finalise a deal.

Moura, who's one of the prime targets at Old Trafford, is currently with the Brazil Olympic squad and has maintained that he will make a decision only after the London Games are over.

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Real Madrid have been linked with a 19.3 million pound bid for United winger Nani.

The Portuguese footballer has been part of teams that have won one of 19 Premier League titles, the Football League Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, and three Community Shield titles. (ANI)
