Rajesh Khanna left behind beautiful music: Jackie Shroff

Mumbai, Aug 11 (IANS) Rajesh Khanna left behind a legacy of beautiful music, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has said.

The actor was speaking at a musical tribute held for the legendary superstar Friday evening in Mumbai.

Rajesh Khanna gave us some of the most melodious songs that we have in our industry. He left behind a legacy of beautiful music, Jackie told IANS.

On the evergreen romantic numbers of the superstar, Jackie said the song O Mere Dil Ke Chain is his favourite.

The lyrics of all his songs, coupled with his suave personality and the magical eyes was just magnificent. His chemistry with all the beautiful actresses was so charming. Music composers and singers were only too happy to compose songs for his films, he said.

Known for hit films like Aradhana and Anand, Rajesh Khanna passed away on July 18.

He had been battling health issues for a while and had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital.
