Van Persie reveals 'little boy inside' screamed for him to join Man U

London, Aug 18(ANI): Robin Van Persie has revealed the little boy inside screamed for him to join Manchester United, and believes joining the Old Trafford outfit is a perfect match for each other.

Van Persie, who scooped all the individual honours last season but wants to win a bucket-load of medals after collecting only one in his eight years with Arsenal, admitted the lack of trophies at the Emirates was the major reason behind leaving them.

When you have to make a hard decision in your life I always listen to the little boy inside me. What does he want? That little boy was screaming for MU, Express.co.uk quoted Van Persie, as saying.

You always develop. I'm older now, I have my experience, and this is a new challenge. I have had lots of challenges, but how it stands now this is my biggest, he added.

I made it clear in my statement that on certain elements we were not similar. That's life, sometimes you disagree on certain things. I am here now and it's the biggest challenge of my life so far, he said.

Van Persie added: United have won a lot over the years and I'd like to be part of that. They have done it already and I'd like to help them do it again. I think everyone knows me by now - I love football. It's always difficult to find a perfect match, but I think this is a perfect match for me. (ANI)
