Bangladesh agrees to improve worker safety system after catastrophic factory collapse

London, May 6 (ANI): Bangladeshi authorities will be taking steps to improve worker safety in the wake of the recent factory collapse that killed more than 600 people.

London, Apr. 30 (ANI): Primark has announced it will compensate victims of the factory collapse in Bangladesh that has so far claimed the lives of at least 382 people.

In a statement, the Irish retailer said they have partnered with a local NGO to address the immediate needs of victims, including the provision of emergency food aid to families, reports The Independent.

London, Apr. 29 (ANI): Police in Nepal are investigating reports of a fight between three European mountaineers and 17 Sherpa mountain guides on Mount Everest.

Conflicting reports have suggested that the climbers were victims of an unprovoked attack, while the guides have said they retaliated after an incident in which they were threatened.

Two of the climbers reportedly suffered minor injuries and the third received a deep cut to his face, Sky News reports.
