Beijing, May 25 (Xinhua-ANI): Ten people, including six attackers, were killed and 14 others wounded in Taliban coordinated attack on a UN-affiliated organization on Friday evening, authorities said Saturday.

Beijing, May 24 (Xinhua-ANI): At least four people were killed and several others injured when a suicide bomber hit a mosque in Pakistan's northwest Peshawar city Friday afternoon, local media reported.

Beijing, May 24 (Xinhua-ANI): London's Heathrow airport closed both of its runways on Friday morning after an emergency landing, SkyTV reported, saying all passengers and crew have been safely evacuated.

British Airways flight BA 762, heading for Oslo from Heathrow, was forced to turn back and land in London due to a technical fault at about 9:00 a.m. (GMT 0800), the airline said in a statement.

NATO driver killed in Khyber Agency

Islamabad, May 24 (ANI): One driver and his helper were killed, while another was injured, when gunmen opened fire on a convoy of NATO containers in a Khyber Agency.

The attack took place in tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency, reports The News.

Armed men opened fire from the mountains on the convoy, carrying NATO military vehicles after it entered Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Pak releases 45 Indian fishermen as goodwill gesture

Karachi, May 24 (ANI): Pakistan has freed 45 Indian fishermen on humanitarian grounds as a goodwill gesture, officials have said.

Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso decided last week to release the Indian fishermen who have already served their sentences, reports The News.

The authorities released a group of 45 prisoners from Karachi, Malir prison who later boarded a bus that will take them to the eastern city of Lahore where they will be handed over to Indian authorities

Japanese Yuichiro Miura also conquered the 29,028ft peak at 70 and 75, the Mirror reported.

Miura said that he never imagined he could make it to the top of Mount Everest at age 80.

Beijing, May 21 (Xinhua-ANI): At least four people were killed and 68 others wounded in deadly bomb attacks in war-torn Iraq on Tuesday, police said.

At least three people were killed and more than 43 others wounded when two car bombs exploded in the Hussein district in Tuz Khormato, some 170 km north of Baghdad, a police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
